rəˈvōk is more than a brand—it’s a movement. Rooted in empowerment, restoration, and faith, we aim to redefine what it means to reclaim our identity, wealth, and purpose. At rəˈvōk, we believe that true beauty and strength come from embracing who we are, honoring our natural selves, and living with purpose. Through every product and initiative, we stand for empowerment, representation, and the transformative power of faith.

rəˈvōk was founded in 2020, in the wake of the tragic murder of George Floyd. His death was a catalyst that ignited global conversations about justice, equality, and the need for systemic change. For us, it was also a call to action—a moment to reclaim what has been taken, restore what has been broken, and renew our communities through empowerment, faith, and ownership.

As we watched protests and dialogue spark across the world, we asked ourselves: How can we impact our culture in a lasting way? Our answer was rəˈvōk—a brand built not only to celebrate natural beauty but to reclaim economic power for Black communities. Every piece we create, every product we sell, and every story we share is rooted in the belief that true restoration comes through faith, unity, and action.

Through rəˈvōk, we honor George Floyd’s memory and the countless others who have inspired us to reclaim our voices, our worth, and our future.

 

Our Mission

 

rəˈvōk exists to empower individuals—especially within Black communities—to reclaim their place in the world, spiritually, economically, and socially. By amplifying Black-owned businesses and embedding scriptures of hope and restoration into our designs, we aim to spark a transformative movement. Our mission is to circulate wealth within our communities, redefine beauty standards, and encourage faith-driven empowerment for all.

 

Why “Revoke”?

 

The name rəˈvōk represents taking back control of what has been taken or forgotten—whether it’s reclaiming beauty, self-worth, or economic influence. Inspired by our belief that God’s promises of restoration are within reach, we envision a world where everyone can thrive by embracing their faith, identity, and heritage. With every product sold, we take one step closer to rewriting the narrative for our communities.
